Wednesday, 09 September 2026

Tennis New Zealand is thrilled to welcome Juice Products New Zealand (JP-NZ, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation / SC Foods Co., Ltd.) as a major sponsor of New Zealand’s upcoming Davis Cup tie against Japan.

Based in South Canterbury, JP-NZ is proud to be part of a region known for its fertile land and abundance of high-quality fresh produce. Its mission is to bring “Healthy Natural New Zealand Goodness” to customers both here in New Zealand and overseas.

JP-NZ manufactures high-quality juice concentrate from carrots grown specifically for juicing, and other fruit and vegetables, all without added sugar, preservatives, colourings or flavourings.

The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared passion for showcasing the best of Aotearoa on the world stage.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Juice Products New Zealand to the Tennis NZ family and to have their support behind our Davis Cup tie against Japan,” says Tennis NZ Marketing and Communications Manager Shawn Sage-Cleaver.

“The Davis Cup is one of the great occasions in international sport, and we’re excited to share this experience with Kiwi fans alongside a proud New Zealand business like JP-NZ.”

The Davis Cup: World Cup of Tennis arrives at The Trusts Arena on 19-20 September, with New Zealand’s team of Ajeet Rai, Finn Reynolds, Isaac Becroft, James Watt and Anton Shepp, led by non-playing captain Artem Sitak, taking on Japan.

With thousands of tickets already sold, it promises to be a huge weekend of international tennis in Auckland.
Tickets are available from just $20.

The upcoming Davis Cup tie between New Zealand and Japan holds special significance for Juice Products New Zealand. Japan is a key export market for the company, which has built strong commercial and cultural connections between the two countries since its establishment.

Those connections are even reflected in the company's initialised name, JP-NZ, representing Japan (JP) and New Zealand (NZ). From the outset, the business was founded with a vision of strengthening ties between the two nations through the production and export of high-quality New Zealand food ingredients.

Today, JP-NZ is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, one of Japan's largest trading and investment companies. Supporting the Davis Cup tie provides an opportunity to celebrate the long-standing relationship between Japan and New Zealand through world-class international sport.
