Routliffe, Rai and Yang in impressive form

New Zealand’s Erin Routliffe and her Polish doubles partner Alicja Rosolska are through to the final at the WTA tournament in Ostrava. They have beaten Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina and Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-4 6-2 in an hour and 16 minutes.

Meanwhile Ajeet Rai is through to the singles final at the ITF US $25,000 tournament in Tay Ninh in Vietnam.

The 7th seeded Kiwi has beaten French qualifier 6-1 6-3 in an hour and 25 minutes in the semi-finals.

And Vivian Yang has won the doubles title at the women’s US 15,000 tournament in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. Teaming with Patricija Paukstyte the fourth seeds have beaten Romana Cisovska and Barbora Matusova 7-5 6-4 in an hour and 19 minutes.

Yang is also through to today’s singles final after a 7-5 6-3 win over Tamara Kostic. She will face second seeded Russian Polina Iatcenko for the title.
