Saturday, 23 April 2022

Ajeet Rai has notched up back-to-back semi-final results at ITF tournaments in Thailand.

The 23-year-old has been beaten 6-4, 6-4 in an hour and 36 minutes in the semi-finals in Chiang Rai by Australian Dayne Kelly, who knocked Rubin Statham out in the quarter finals.

Having made the quarter finals followed by semi finals twice in his last three tournaments, Rai is expected to climb more than 50 places in the rankings to get into the top 800. He plays another tournament in Chiang Rai this week.
