Great win for Erin Routliffe in Italy

New Zealand tennis player Erin Routliffe and her Belgian partner Kimberley Zimmermann are through to the semi-finals at the WTA tournament in Palermo.

They've beaten Serbian Olga Danilovic and Romania's Elena-Gabriela Ruse 5-7, 6-4 10-5.

Meanwhile Ajeet Rai is through to the quarter finals in singles and semi-final in doubles at his latest ITF tournament in Monastir in Tunisia. In singles Rai has beaten Australian Kody Pearson 6-4 7-5 in one hour 56 and will next face Italian eighth seed, Mattia Bellucci.

 Rai and Jeremy Beale have beaten Valentino de Pellegrin and Francisco Falgenbaum 6-0 6-1 in just 39 minutes in their doubles quarter-final. They will play Jordan’s Abedallah Shelbayh and Pedro Vives Marcos for a place in the final.
