Members

You will need to invite your members to use ClubSpark and book a court without being charged. Some members may already have signed up to a ClubSpark account and can use those details to sign in:

This tutorial will show you how to merge a contact into one

  • This is a great solution if you get a paid member who logs into ClubSpark but when trying to book a court they are still being charged.

  • General Cleanup of the Contacts module

  • Sometimes, contacts may be duplicated in the system (for instance, when a user registers with an email address and then at a later stage registers again using a different email or a social account.

Sub-pages

Subpages are "child pages" which allow you to add additional information without overloading your main "Parent" page.

On your Booking Sheet you can add Court Maps, Instructions or Policies as sub-pages

A Court / Venue Map is a great way to show your casuals (and members) what courts are which, it's surface type and more. It also helps with first timers new to the area know where to access the Padlock as well as carparking etc..

Creating a map can be easily created using various tools. Tennis New Zealand has created a template for you to use PowerPoint to build a map, however you can create a map with an external contractor or design one yourself (e.g. Photoshop, Canva)

Download PowerPoint Template

The templates have court color pre-sets to cover the most common court surfaces, however you can adjust this by recoloring the main base square of the court.

 Court Map web

Each court and its lines are grouped together to keep things clean and tidy; you can move them around how you like.

Below the courts are the base-surface, this is where the courts will go on top of to create a zone, again you can change the color or use the defaults.

Once you have your color schemes for the map, you can start dragging and dropping the elements together and form a structure like the one below:

Once you have built your map you can save it as an image.

Using the Powerpoint Template:

  1. Click File
  2. Export
  3. Click Change File Type
  4. Click JPEG File Inter change Format
  5. Name the map, save onto your computer.
